Testimonials

The property itself was simply amazing and I would recommend it to any large parties visiting Keswick and the surrounding area. The pool table was an added bonus which was particularly popular for the younger members of the group who spent many an hour at the table. Can't fault the property, everything we wanted and more.

The property was beautifully furnished and decorated . the size was fantastic and it provided plenty of space for 9 women and all their luggage! The locality of the property was also ideal as it was within very easy reach of all local amenities. I will definitely be booking the Gables again and have already recommended it to several friends.

A beautifull house, great location in Keswick. Easy to access the fells and the town on foot. The house is spacious, comfortable, well decorated. The kitchen had all the requirements for catering for a large group. There were amble bathrooms. would definitley recommend a stay here.

Well equipped, lots of character, comfortable and relaxing. Location great for exploring Keswick, walks on the doorstep and a plethora of pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend for a large group and would have no hesitation in booking again.

Couldn't fault it in any way. Particularly like the second floor dining room. Perfect location. Warm. Good showers. Plenty of room.

We chose this property because of it's size and location - big enough for for a large party of friends / family, very close to all the local amenities and in the center of the magical Lake District....
We were not disappointed, lovely big house with all you could need (including pool table), a very short stroll to all the lovely pubs, bars cafes & shops in Keswick, the park 100m down the street and Latrigg Fell beyond.

The Gables is a characterful, spacious and very comfortable 'home away from home', and it's ideally situated in the centre of Keswick.
